TWO PROMINENT ILLINOIS LAW FIRMS TEAM UP TO SERVE ROCKFORD COMMUNITY
In a new project, Meyers & Flowers joins Clark Frost Zucchi to represent clients with personal injury claims
CHICAGO, IL – Today, nationally recognized law firm Meyers & Flowers and Rockford-based law firm Clark Frost Zucchi launch a joint venture designed to enhance the level of legal service and care provided to those injured in the Rockford area and throughout Northern Illinois.
The joining of the two Illinois-based Plaintiffs’ firms will strengthen the presence of the personal injury firms in the Rockford market to ensure existing clients and those in need of legal representation have access to renowned legal representation.
By providing clients with the additional resources and experience of two firms, the strategic partnership will provide exceptional legal services in areas of personal injury, including: product liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and a specialization in defective medical device litigation.
Meyers & Flowers and Clark Frost Zucchi share a deep commitment to personalized client care and compassionate advocacy, a shared value that both firms hope to amplify in their collaboration.

After years of friendship, shared referrals, and common case work – notably on the Chemtool litigation active in Rockton, IL and the DePuy ASR hip litigation - Peter Flowers and Kevin Frost recognized the commonalities between their firms’ values and successes in the courtroom, and discussions of a joint venture talk transpired from there. The new partnership boasts a collective 16 experienced attorneys and over 40 professional staff members.
Meyers & Flowers has been headquartered in St. Charles, IL since its inception in 2011 and spans back to an earlier iteration of the firm as Foote Meyers Mielke & Flowers, which opened in 1990. Meyers & Flowers subsequently opened offices in Chicago and Peru, IL. Advocating Against Chemtool Together
In June 2021, Meyers & Flowers and Clark Frost Zucchi filed some of the first individual civil lawsuits against Chemtool Incorporated and The Lubrizol Corporation on behalf of Rockton, Illinois residents affected by a catastrophic explosion at a local chemical plant.
Since then, the duo has taken on representation of 111 Winnebago County citizens seeking to hold Chemtool accountable for its alleged negligence, willful and wanton conduct, and trespass that created adverse health and safety implications for the local community. Filing suit just days after the disastrous event, Meyers & Flowers and Clark Frost Zucchi have remained entrenched in the legal process and dedicated to obtaining justice for the families affected by this preventable event.
Over A Decade Representing DePuy ASR Hip Clients
In 2014, Peter Flowers spearheaded the $2.5 billion settlement against DePuy Orthopaedics for more than 8,000 patients suffering from defective ASR-hip replacement devices implanted in their bodies. Peter Flowers and Kevin Frost worked jointly to file lawsuit on behalf of 19 individuals suffering from these metal-on-metal devices, recovering more than $2,970,000 for their clients.
The pair has continued to work as co-counsel on various defective hip replacement litigations and medical malpractice claims.
